I didn't dismiss it at all. Not even a little. Simmer down.

Given their intellectual prowess and their ages and that they grew from and drew from the events of their times, it's beyond remarkable. Recognizing when there's everything to be gained and nothing to be lost, time was of the essence. They were vastly more schooled than most of their contemporaries, it was also their youth that gave them the fire. Ben Franklin probably lived 10 or 15 years longer just because he spent time with them, since he was 70 in 1776.
